It’s difficult to know what to draw your attention to in this month’s newsletter. So many positive things have happened over the past month that I urge you to take a few minutes to read all the articles. It feels to me the developments outlined below paint a positive optimistic picture of local music.
Most notable this month is the arrival of our first shipment of new PETROF pianos, the first in South Africa in some time. We are delighted to have agreed our collaboration with PETROF and we share the excitement Susan Petrof expressed in the article below. Our Fazioli pianos continue to receive rave reviews, read our Fazioli news below as well as an article for you pre-owned Steinway fans highlighting our role in the market. And there is an article focused on how we’re easing your piano purchase through our new payment plans. This month’s articles include a few videos, let me know whether you like them and we’ll endeavour to add more each month.
Lastly I want to acknowledge the passing of Cape Town pianist Victor Tichart whom I greatly respected as a pianist and accompanist. He added so much to the local music scene and will be greatly missed by the Ian Burgess-Simpson Pianos team.
