FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE

At the BRICS Festival in Russia, WTS received an award for our performance of “Oedipus Rex”. We are thrilled to confirm that we will be back again in 2020.

GRADUATE SUCCESS

Alumni Thalia Burt made her West End debut in “Joseph & The Technicolour Dreamcoat” and Sonwa Sakuba joined the international cast of “The Lion King”.

CREATING CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURS

We pride ourselves on training not only performers & teachers, but also individuals who are equipped to become creative entrepreneurs in the industry.  This was clearly demonstrated by the creative talents that emerged at this year’s Choreographic Competition and One Act Play Festival – all written, directed & choreographed by the students.

THE LAST VOYAGE

The Last Voyage, a swashbuckling, interactive, theatrical experience for all ages, will be presented at The Galloway Theatre at the Waterfront Theatre school from 24 to 28 September.

This show has been devised by the fourth year students of The Waterfront Theatre School and is written and directed by Tandi Buchan with original music by Thinus Viljoen and Emma Lyon. Lighting and sound by Luke Unser and costumes are provided by The Waterfront Theatre School.
